Newsletter subscriptions
When you subscribe, we collect the email address you enter and a source label showing that the footer form was used. Convex stores a durable copy and Resend may store the address to deliver the newsletter and welcome email. We use it only for the emails described beside the form.
Every welcome email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing changes the stored subscription status so future newsletter sends can exclude that address.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate page and navigation performance. We do not add our own advertising profile, account ID, or cross-site tracking identifier to this integration.
Affiliate links
Product buttons pass through a short first-party /go/ route and then redirect to the relevant Amazon product page with an Associates tracking tag. The current route does not store your IP address, user agent, referrer, query string, cookies, or a personal identifier. Our affiliate disclosure explains how commercial links and commissions are handled. Amazon handles the destination visit under its own privacy terms.
Service providers and retention
Convex provides newsletter data storage, Resend provides email delivery, Vercel hosts the site and analytics, and Amazon operates affiliate destinations. Data may remain with those providers until it is deleted or the subscription is removed, subject to their operational backups and legal requirements.
Your choices
You can avoid analytics with browser privacy controls, avoid affiliate tracking by not using product buttons, and unsubscribe through the link in a newsletter email. For an access or deletion request, email hello@thesawadvisor.com.
Policy changes
We update this page when the site’s actual data flows change. Material additions—such as new advertising, account features, or tracking tools—must be reflected here before launch.
